Wow!

Ok so, I've hung out with Masi warriors, orphans, missionaries, lions, hyenas, traveled over 25,000 miles, seen God doing some amazing things half way around the world, BUT man I miss ya'll!!!

Please come see me at our next Bible study time!!!

This Sunday I will give ya'll a personal tour through my time in Africa. I would love for all of you to be there! Sundays have been a great time in the Jr. high, so if you haven't been in a while... I'll see you Sunday at 3:00!

Wednesday night we will continue our study of the Kingdom of God! Some of you are really tracking with this study! I can't wait to jump back in it with you!

Adam is having the Official first day of Game Day!

When: Saturday! March 7th! 11:00am-1:00pm
Where: At the soccer field across from Mcleod Park! NOT Mcleod Fitness! Mcleod PARK!
What: We will be playing soccer and Ultimate Frizbee.
Why: Because these video games are making my eyes hurt!
Who: Whoever wants to play. But do NOT come out there if you plan on crying,
complaining, or can't take a hit. If you aren't good at sports, it doesn't matter. Just
come if you are willing to play!

Bring your own water. If you got pads for your legs or whatever, bring it if you want to.

Bring friends if you got any...and once again, be ready to play!

Left turn at Albuquerque

Hey Crew,

You probably don't remember Bugs Bunny or haven't thought about him in a while. He use to burrow underground and would pop up way off where he thought he should be. He would always say "I knew I should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque". Bugs Bunny Rocks!

Have you ever found yourself making decisions and going down a road or path and ending up somewhere you didn't expect to be? You look back and wondered if you should have done something different or made another choice? I have plenty of times! We need to always seek the Lord and the counsel of our family and friends that claim to know Him a Savior. We want always get it right, but we can try! I truly believe He leads us and will honor our decisions if we base our decisions on His leading by His word. Follow Him and walk in His foot steps and let Him lead, don't go past and don't lag behind... STAY CLOSE! We can drift off track only we go at it on our own. If you find yourself away from Him intentionally or not, go back draw close to Him through His word and prayer and go back make your own left turn at Albuquerque and get back on track!

Guys unplugged

Hey Guy's

I want to remind all of you about Tuesday night the 24th. at my house. We will be have the guys unplugged evening. It's your turn to speak up and I hope you do!

What is unplugged? I will explain it like this... often when my computer, cable vision, wireless internet, isn't working quite right the advise I get from the support desk is to unplug the device to allow it to reset itself then plug it back in. Most of the time this works and improves the quality of my service. That's what I want to do with the Jr.high! Let's take an evening unplugg, talk, discuss,etc. and then plug our good ideas back in to make youth group even better.

We have talked a bunch lately as a group of ways to make us tighter as a youth group, but this is a chance for the guys to speak up! I need to hear it from your perspective.

I want to do everything I can to provide you with a safe and fun environment that we can all learn about Christ together. Sometimes youth groups can be a hardest place for students to feel apart and welcome. I want you to take ownership in making each other, as well as those who come and visit us feel at home. We will talk about ways we can make that happen!

We will have light snacks and drinks. We may talk around a fire.

Do me a favor and please come! This will only work if we are all in it together!!!

If you've never been to a Common Thread Worship Service join us this Sunday night February 8th. at 6:30.
