Go jump in a lake

It was another awesome day hanging out with the coolest people in the world! The lake was so much fun. We packed the day with riding the "tube", the "hot dog", skies, wake boards, swimming, food, chillin with friends, etc. man it just don't get much better than that! This has been an incredible summer with you. We have so many good times ahead and I can't wait. Be sure to tell Mr. Bobby Russell thanks when you see him. He was so cool to us today!

Lake Day

Crew,
Lake Day is this Thursday 31st. We will meet at the church at 9:00 and head out from there. You will need bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, etc. The cost is $10.00 and that will cover lunch at the lake and everything else. Mr. Bob Russell is taking his boat along with banana float, tubes, hydro slides, skies. He will also be giving lessons to those who don't know how ski. There is beach for us to hang out on and swim while others are out in the boat. It's going to be a fun day together. I need to know if you plan to attend so, I can make ride and food arrangements. Hey Crew,
It was a good time for me tonight at Bible study. There is NOTHING more important in this entire world than what we discussed tonight. I love the previlge of studying the scriptures with you! My prayer for us is that we approach these times with open minds and open hearts. I encourage you the read Colossians 1:15-22 again and again. Think honestly about the three questions I gave you tonight: 1- What is the gospel? 2-Who is Jesus to you? 3-What should your response be to both? All our studies will be based in the book of Colossians if you need a place to read. I am always available to you! If you have questions or don't understand something you read or that is taught, please don't hasitate to ask me.

Battle Zone

Are you ready to rumble? This Thursday night the 24th. at Sandhurst IT'S ON!!! We will enter the BATTLE ZONE from 6:00 till 9:00. The cost is $0.00, zero, nothing. We will not be have food so eat before you come. You may get wet so be ready!

A Fantasy day at the Lake

It was a prefect day for swinging, sliding, diving, jumping, lake aroebics, etc. It was great to hang with you all day! 5 more guy's learned the "Captain America" and "You say potato and I say three"song. Daniel and Rachel G. earned the Air Acrobatics award, Flynn, Matthew, Ellis, and Rachel G. get the award for "swinging the farthest without using a rope,because they used my neck award". These are a few of the pictures I have. I love hanging with my new and old friends can't wait till next time.

Logos Hope Adventures...

Hey Everybody!
For starters...I miss y'all like mad! Sounds like a lot of fun stuff is going on in FloCity. I'm bummed I'm missing out, but loving whats happening here too.
I'll tell you a little bit, and you can ask me for details later...But I got to the Logos Hope with Emily Stewart last Wednesday. We are in a city called Koge(you pronounce it Kooye), Denmark. We didn't sleep on the plane so we were pretty tired. The first day we were allowed to rest, but went full speed ahead on the second day! The ship has nine decks, we've painted, hauled heavy stuff, and scrubbed the outdoor decks. There is no work on the weekends, so we've been playing! Yesterday we went to Copenhagen which is the city we flew into. It is huge and we walked for a loooonnng time! Today we had church, played ULTIMATE FRISBEE and walked the beach of the Baltic Sea. It's been fun, and it is really cool to meet so many people from different countries.
One thing that I've really enjoyed seeing is Jesus being the same Jesus across cultures. He is the same Savior to my new friends from Australia, Germany, Denmark, Canada... I know we know that, but experiencing the unity we can have because of our faith in Christ is really cool. Another thing that has really been impressed on my heart is the fact that too often we don't take God seriously. Yea, we live in the safe little Bible belt, but God is BIG, REAL, and ALIVE! He is worthy of so much, and it is so important for us to consider what we should do with our lives as a result. Falling in love with Jesus is something I desperately want y'all to experience, take time this week to slow down and spend some good quality time with Him! He will rock your world!
I love you each buckets full! Can't wait to see you in August!

Happening stuff

Yo Crew,
Here's a few reminders and info about up coming stuff.

*Friday Night 11th.
MIDNIGHT BOWLING from 11:00 till 1:00 at Southgate. The cost is $16.00 for shoes and unlimited games. You will need to get your own rides to and from the bowling alley.

*Sunday 13th afternoon
SURVIVOR SIGN UP – Begins @ 2:30pm in the Fellowship hall. Cost is $100.00. Dates of Trip: August 7th – 10th. Sign up is JULY 13th @ 2:30pm, limited spaces. This will, as always, be a first come, first serve basis. You must have someone physically stand in line for you in the event you cannot be present for the sign-up (in other words a person in line cannot hold their place and your place at the same time). More information will be given the day you sign up.
You ARE NOT allowed to get in line until after Sunday's church service is COMPLETELY over. If you are caught lining up before then you will be place last on the waiting list.

3:00 till 4:30 we will have the first screening of the FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE video. We will begin the video at 3:00 sharp so make plans to get there early.

*Thursday 17th.
FANTASY LAKE-We will meet at 8:00 at Sandhurst and return around 6:00. The cost is $20.00 plus money for food at the lake, or you can bring a packed lunch and your own drink (cost difference is to off set gas cost and leader expenses) I will have a big cooler and water available. Back from Belize

Hey Crew,
I'm back from Belize! I had an awesome time and I can't wait to tell you all about it! I'm glad to be back here though so I can hang out with you. Robert and Jennifer were with me in Belize and if you have not met them you are in for a treat. They love Jesus and love to share Him and life with you!
We have a ton of stuff lined up for the rest of the summer to do together and it's going to be a blast!
